capital punishment: is it a deterrent or murder?
I think that capital punishment is murder, however it serves more as a deterrent.
Murder. the definition is that of to kill or slaughter another human being inhumanly or barbarously under conditions specifically covered in law. Almost similar in its methods is capital punishment.
capital punishment can be seen as a crime deterrent and it is especially suitable as a punishment for the crime of murder. However, during the process of which, in its very own way, can be seen as murdering the convicted; The act of hanging another human being(worse still if the execution involves a wrongfully convicted)
